Tickled Pink

Pink was once my favorite color…I recently traded it in for seafoam green. Sorry pink, but you know I still love you. But with Valentine’s day right around the corner, I was in the mood and inspired by all the shades of pink around me. I mixed this bright magenta pink this weekend and ran a few different notecards with it. I love how the polka dots and giraffes bring a bit of cheeriness to the rather drab weather we’re having outside.

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and the studio is filled with so many different V-Day cards. One of our favorites so far is just as simple as XOXO. It’s not fancy, there are no frills–it’s just a simple statement with two little letters.

Do you remember making Valentine’s Day cards in elementary school with doilies and red construction paper? We wanted to capture those nostalgic memories with a contemporary spin. You’ll see our version of a doily postcard that’s perfect to send to your valentine. Because the doily is the negative, it actually feels raised as if we actually glued a paper doily on top of the postcard.
